I currently offer virtual therapy sessions only. In-person sessions are temporarily paused and are expected to resume at my Brooklyn office in early 2027.

A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes the information your insurance company needs to determine whether they will reimburse you for therapy if your insurance is out-of-network. You pay for sessions directly, and at the end of each month, we can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company. Many clients receive partial reimbursement depending on their plan.

Here are some helpful questions to ask your insurance provider:• Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?• What is my out-of-network deductible, and how much of it have I met?• What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed (co-insurance)?• What is the “customary” or “allowed” rate for an out-of-network psychotherapy session with a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in my area?• Is pre-authorization required before I begin therapy?
